Fall Convocation

Hey Eagles,
How are you guys doing? I hope you’re doing well. A thought came to mind yesterday and I just had to state that if your wondering why I always say hello Eagles and you haven’t gotten accepted yet or haven’t even applied and are just interested in NCCU, it is because with the thought in mind to attend this great institution, you have already began to soar. And I’m not sure if you know but the eagle is no common ordinary barn yard fowl. Which clearly means it’s one of a kind and not like any other bird; the eagle actually soars. And you are soaring just by taking the next step in your education; so congratulations eagle.
Last week I told you guys that I would let you in on how the fall convocation for our 100th year as an institution went and it was great. The speakers were touching and very emotionally connected in the words they spoke about our university. It was a lovely experience. And I really wish everyone in the world would have attended, but I doubt the gym is large enough. It was really exciting and I am happy that our school is entering year its the 100th year. Through it all I’ve been trying to connect with myself on a more spiritual level. So I am trying to change my diet in order to be mentally and physically healthier. I decided I would take pork off the menu and I think it’s a pretty good decision. I tried to stop eating beef and pork but I think that’s a bit much. So help me through this eagles, don’t let me fly alone.
